Guwahati, August 07 (NKTV): A plantation programme was carried out today in Kokrajhar at Kalibari Mandir in a bid to create a green and healthy environment around the temple.
The plantation programme was organised under the Assam Darshan Scheme.
It may be mentioned here that the Government of Assam had allotted Rs 10 lakh to the mandir under the Assam Darshan Scheme.
President of the Mandir Samiti informed that the plantation programme has been initiated as per guidelines laid out by the state government.
The Samiti urged the citizens to come forward for plantation in the region.
