Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted citizens and extended wishes on the occasion of Diwali. PM Modi wished for everyone’s prosperity and happiness and goodwill. Taking to twitter PM Modi wrote “Greetings to everyone on the occasion of Diwali, I wish this festival of lights brings happiness, prosperity and good fortune in your life. Wishing everyone a very Happy Diwali.”
Prime Minister Modi will celebrate Diwali with soldiers in states like Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Punjab, and the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.
