Poachers make use of uncanny way to trap birds!
Guwahati, June 03 (NKTV): Personnel of Assam Forest Department have recently recovered Laokhowa Wildlife Sanctuary eight rare birds last night along with three audio players.
What is interesting is that pre-recorded sounds of birds are played using the hi-tech audio players, listening to which birds of the particular species are attracted. Once the birds move towards the sound source, they fall prey to the traps set by poachers.
