Pooja Rani scalps gold medal, Mary Kom and 2 others settle for sliver in Asian Championship

Guwahati, (NKTV): Indian women boxer Pooja Rani have scapled gold medal in 75 kg category in the Asian Boxing Championships. While, six time world champion MC Mary Kom had to settle with sliver medal in the 51 kg category. Another two boxers Lalbuatsaihi and Anupma also finished with a sliver medal in the championship.

Pooja Rani defeated her strong counterpart Mavluda Movlonova in the gold medal clash. Meanwhile MC Mary Kom was defeated against Kazakhstan’s Nazym Kyzaibay in the women’s 51kg final.
