Guwahati, September 19 (NKTV): Amid obstruction from the Police, villagers from Salguri today protested against the killing of two suspected ULB cadres in an encounter with police on Saturday (read news here).
Villagers took out a protest rally, taking dead body of Jwngsar Mushahary at the Selena Bazar area.
The villagers demanded to stop such killings. It may be mentioned here that Jwngsar Mushahary’s family has alleged the killing to be a fake encounter (read news here).
Former Lok Sabha MP and social activist Sansuma Khunggur Bwisumuthiary and BSU Secretary Banjit Manjil Basumatary have condemned the killing and have demanded investigation into the matter.
