Winning the toss, RR captain Sanju Samson decided to bowl first. Their bowlers managed to restrict the KKR team at just 133 runs. For KKR, Rahul Tripathi scored the highest, 36 runs, while the others failed to make an impact on the scoreboard. Chris Morris took four important wickets in the match for RR.
Chasing a score of 134 runs, Sanju Samson’s 42 runs and David Miller’s 24 runs helped the team to gain victory over KKR. For Kolkata, Varun Chakravarthy scapled 2 wickets. Chris Morris for his 4 wickets was given the man of the match.
