Ranoj Pegu arrives at Kokrajhar, to hold talks with ABSU

Guwahati, July 3 (NKTV): Despite heavy rain since, Assam Education minister Ranoj Pegu has arrived in Kokrajhar by Rajdhani Express train. This is Pegu’s first visit to Kokrajhar after becoming Education minister of the state.

Earlier the minister had informed that the marks evaluation of HSLC/HSSLC has been prepared process and results would be declared within 31st July. The evaluation of marks would be positive for the future of the students, he also added.

He said that he will be holding talks with AASU,ABSU and several organisations over the outcome of the marks evaluation procedures as several students unions have expressed concern over the matter.

Arriving at Kokarjhar the minister assured that the problem and issues of Bodo medium including Bodo medium directorate would be solved through the deep discussion with concern authorities in days to come.

Ranoj Pegu will also chair a meeting with BTR CEM Pramod Boro and executive members as well education department officials at BTC Secretariat today. He will also meet leaders from several organisations of Bodos including ABSU,Bodo Sahitya Sabha etc during his visit.
