Indian Politician and BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra has made a weird claim that rape cases in India have come down in various states as PM Narendra Modi provided toilets to women. The BJP spokesperson further added that rapes happened when women in rural areas used to go out to attend nature’s call in the dark.
Sambit Patra said, “Modi is the first prime minister in the world who talked about toilets.” He also added that currently, over six lakh villages in the country have become open defecation free.”
