In a sensational incident, a family member of a dead 80-year-old man received an SMS saying he was given second Covid-19 dose on 16th November months after his death. The incident came into mainstream focus after Ankur Singh, grandson of deceased Satyanarayan Singh, narrated the story on social media platforms.
Ankur Singh further added that his grandfather Satyanarayan Singh died on June 10, and the family was issued a death certificate on July 3. It is to be mentioned that his grandfather got the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine on 4th April and his mobile number was registered then.
However, the local health authorities have assured that action will be taken against whoever is found guilty, and if there is a technical fault, it will be rectified.
