Assam captain Riyan Parag continues his dream run in domestic cricket, as the 22-year-old smashed the 2nd fastest hundred in Ranji Trophy history.

In the ongoing match between Assam and Chattisgarh, Parag scored 155 off just 87 balls, which featured 12 sixes and 11 fours. Meanwhile, Riyan took just 56 balls to complete his ton. Rishabh Pant still holds the record for fastest century in Ranji, which is his famous 48-ball hundred against Jharkhand in 2016.

Parag came to bat at a crucial time, as Assam were given a follow-on. Chattisgarh, batting first, scored 327 runs, while Assam tumbled for 159 runs. Batting again, Assam scored 254, out of which 155 were amassed by Parag.
