Guwahati, September 12 (NKTV): Assam Congress President, Bhupen Borah who is on a three day tour of Barak Valley has said that a sea of changes would be done in order to restore the image of the oldest national party of this country during workers’ meet in Silchar.

Summing up his Barak valley tour, he said “what I have learnt is that die hard Congress party workers do not believe in politics of division and politics of alliance for ones own benefit. Sushmita Dev may have left for her own benefits but her departure won’t affect Congress party at all, instead if she goes on to become the Chief Minister of Tripura being a daughter of the soil of Assam, I would feel extremely happy.”

He further added that as far as seats for forthcoming by-elections are concerned it is a welcome sign if many are coming forward to contest with a INC ticket.
