Guwahati, June 17 (NKTV): With two fresh fatalities in the state, the Covid death toll in Sikkim has reached 287. Sikkim on Thursday reported 90 new positive cases taking the state’s Covid tally to 18,896.
A Health Department bulletin stated that East Sikkim registered 51 cases, followed by 23 in South Sikkim, 15 in West Sikkim and one in North Sikkim.
Sikkim presently has 2,907 active cases, while 15,452 people have recovered from the infection.
Positivity rate in the state stands at 4.5 per cent, while the recovery rate among the coronavirus patients has improved to 81.7 per cent.
