Guwahati, September 4 (NKTV): The Government of Assam has issued a new SOP for resuming classes in educational institutions across the state.
According to the new SOP, there shall be no physical classes for students of Class XI.
The Education Department has decided to resume classes for students of Class XII, Degree Sem VI and PG Sem IV from September 06. Students of Class XII who are above 18 years of age and are vaccinated are allowed to attend physical classes.
A maximum of 30 students shall be allowed to attend physical classes.
Students, who have been administered at least one dose of Covid vaccine, shall be allowed to stay in hostels.
The Government of Assam has also directed schools to sanitize the premises weekly.
