South Point School student achieves ‘Candidate Master’ title
Guwahati, September 16 (NKTV): A student of South Point School, Guwahati, Mayank Chakrabarty, has achieved the title of Candidate Master (CM) and crossed the rating barrier of 2000 points recently.
He is currently playing in the “First Saturday Budapest Open Chess Tournament” at Hungary.
It may be mentioned here that Mayank is the second player from Assam after International Master Shahil Dey to achieve the title of Candidate Master.
