Spain and Italy qualifies for semis of Euro 2020
Guwahati, July 3 (NKTV): Spain and Italy has qualified for the semfinals of Euro Cup 2020 after winning their respective matches in the quaterfinal round. In the first match of the day, Spain edge past Switzerland in penalties. Initially Swiss player Denis Zakaria’s own goal helped the Spain to get lead but Xherdan Shaqiri’s 68 minute goal drawed the scorline 1-1. However, at the penalities Spain scored 3 goal, while Swizterland managed to score only 1 goal.
In the second match, Italy defeated the ‘red devils’ Belgium 2-1. Nicolò Barella and Lorenzo Insigne goals helped the ‘Azzurris’ to get place in the semifinal round. Meanwhile, today Czech republic to face Denmark for a place in semis and in another match Ukraine to face strong English side to seal berth in the semis round of Euro 2020.
