Ravindra Jadeja and Moeen Ali’s artful spin bowling in the middle overs helped the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) gain victory over the Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 45 runs in the IPL.

Chasing 189, Jos Butler’s 49 runs helped the RR get a good start before he was dismissed by Ravindra Jadeja. Thereafter, Jadeja and Moen Ali took quick wickets in middle overs from which RR could never recover and managed just 143 runs in 20 overs. For CSK, Moeen Ali took 3 wickets and Ravindra Jadeja scalped 2 wickets. Moen Ali, for his 3 wickets, was awarded man of the match.
