Tamil Nadu has made huge Contribution in Indian Space Sector: PM Modi

Prime Minister and senior BJP leader Narendra Modi has said that India is emerging as a power in the world today and Tamil Nadu has played a big role in this. Addressing a rally at Vellore today, Mr Modi said Tamil Nadu has made a huge contribution in taking India forward in the space sector. Prime Minister said, Tamil Nadu’s hard work has played a vital role in taking India forward in manufacturing. Mr Modi said that the Defence Corridor being built in Tamil Nadu will take this state to new heights. He said, in the last 10 years, NDA has prepared the foundation for developed Bharat.

Prime Minister said, before 2014, our economy was weak and only scam-related news used to be there. Mr Modi was addressing a public meeting in Vellore to support two NDA partners–Pattali Makkal Kachi’s Dharmapuri candidate Soumya Anbumani as well as the New Justice Party’s Vellore candidate AC Shanmugam, who is contesting on the BJP symbol. Prime Minister said Congress gave Katchatheevu island to Srilanka, which harmed the cause of Tamil Nadu fishermen. He said, several fishermen have been arrested in the last few years and NDA government is continuously working to bring them back.

Prime Minister criticised the DMK for being unsympathetic to the needs of the people and indulging in several scams. Mr Modi said the NDA Government has implemented several schemes for the benefit of the people and also carried out economic reforms in a massive way to put India in a global arena. Extending greetings for Tamil New Year, he said that Vellore was the core point for the beginning of the Independence struggle. He said that the Namo App is available in Tamil language.

DMK leader and Chief Minister MK Stalin is in Theni to garner votes for the INDI alliance. Today morning, he interacted with the people on the streets and canvassed for the candidates.
