Guwahati, August 28 (NKTV): In a proud moment for the state, a nine-member team of Assam Mountaineering Association climbed the Jogin III peak on August 26 at at 8:30 AM.
The expedition was sponsored by the Government of Assam and the team was led by Manash Barooah.
The nine-member team comprised of Manash Barooah, Upen Chakraborty, Bhaskar Baruah, Jayanta Nath, Shekhar Bordoli, Dhruba Jyoti Hazarika, Kaushik Das, Krishna Basumatary and Rubi Borah.
It may be mentioned here that Jogin III is a mountain of the Garhwal Himalaya in Uttarakhand, India. The elevation of Jogin III is 6,116 metres (20,066 ft).
