Tension along Assam-Mizoram border

Guwahati, June 05 (NKTV): Tension has escalated at Gutguti area in Hailakandi along the Assam-Mizoram border after illegal encroachment by Mizo citizens. A Mizo guest house is being allegedly being constructed in the region.

The District Administration of Hailakandi reached to the spot to take stock of the situation.

MLA of Hailakandi has urged CM Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma to take stern steps against the encroachment issue.
