Tezpur Medical College to get 24 ICU, 30 pediatric ICU beds: Assam Health Minister
Guwahati, July 4 (NKTV): Assam Health Minister Keshab Mahanta yesterday informed that 24 new ICU beds shall be added to the existing 35 at the Tezpur Medical College and Hospital (TMCH), which shall be operational in 3-4 days.
Along with the ICU beds, 30 pediatric ICU beds are too being set up at the medical college.
“In view of the Covid-19 situation in the district, the decisions were taken after thoroughly discussing and scrutinizing the overall medical infrastructure in TMCH with Barchalla MLA, Principal and HODs of TMC, Dy Superintendents of TMCH and other health officials in Tezpur” Mahanta said.
