Guwahati, August 29 (NKTV): In another proud moment for India, Bhavinaben Patel created history this Sunday and won India’s first Paralympics medal in Table Tennis.
Bhavinaben was able to bag silver after she lost to China’s Zhou Ying in the final of the women’s singles Class IV event. The 34-year-old Patel’s impressive run at the Games ended with a 7-11, 5-11, 6-11 loss to Zhou, a two-time gold medallist.
Patel has received praise from the Indian sports fraternity for her incredible performance at the Tokyo Paralympics.
