Tourism to be uplifted in BTC: Bimal Borah

Guwahati, August 30 (NKTV): Assam Tourism Minister Bimal Borah, while on his visit to Dheerlbil and Baukhhungri Hills in Kokrajhar today, took stock of the tourist hotspots of the region and assured development of the tourism sector Bodoland Territorial Council ( BTC) districts.

Borah was accompanied by BTR CEM Pramod Boro in his visit among others.

“The BTR districts have high tourism potential. The state government and BTR administration are jointly working towards the ushering of tourism in the region” Borah said. “The tourism sector would be uplifted through exploration of the tourist spots across the region” he added.

Borah also inaugurated a 33/11 KV Power substation at Bodofa Nwgwr Greenfield in Kokrajhar.
