Two Army soldiers killed & 2 civilians injured in encounter between terrorists in Kashmir

In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, two Army soldiers were killed in the line of their duties while two civilians were injured in an encounter between terrorists and security forces in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district yesterday.

As per the Defence Spokesperson, the two critically injured Army soldiers after being shifted to hospital finally succumbed to their grievous injuries. The two civilians have also been evacuated from the area and provided immediate medical aid. The encounter was underway till the reports last came in. Further details are awaited.
