Two Bengal ministers arrested among four by CBI in Narada bribery case

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has detained two TMC leader Madan Mitra, former mayor of Kolkata Sovan Chatterjee with two West Bengal ministers Firhad Hakim in connection with the Narada sting operation case.

The CBI has detained them in controversy of videos purportedly showing a number of TMC leaders accepting bribes by Narada News Portal. After the arrest West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee has rushed to CBI office and termed the arrest as illegal and politically motivated.
