Ukraine has resumed issuing e-visas to citizens of around 45 countries, including India, Bhutan, Maldives, and Nepal, starting from February 19, 2025. The General Department for Consular Services is now accepting e-visa applications for various purposes such as tourism, business, education, sports, cultural and scientific activities, journalism, and medical treatment.
According to the Ukrainian embassy, there are two types of Union e-Visas available: a single-entry visa priced at USD 20 and a double-entry visa for USD 30. Applicants who require urgent processing can opt for expedited service at double the standard fee.
The standard processing time for e-Visas is three working days, but this can be reduced to just one day for urgent requests.
This move to restore e-Visa services aligns with Ukraine’s aim to strengthen diplomatic ties with key nations, including India. Relations between India and Ukraine have continued to grow across various sectors such as trade, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, defense, education, and culture over the years.
