In Maharashtra, Senior BJP leader and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, filed his nomination for Nagpur Lok Sabha Constituency, in Nagpur Collectorate today. On this occasion, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, and State BJP President Chandrashekhar Bawankule were mainly present.
Before filling the nomination form, Mr. Gadkari addressed a public meeting. Mr Gadkari expressed that the people of Nagpur will elect him with a margin of five lakh votes by voting 75 percent from Nagpur. Deputy Chief Minister, Devendra Fadnavis said that Nitin Gadkari is not only the leader of Nagpur but also a national leader and he should be honoured by a record-breaking polling in Nagpur. Mr. Gadkari will contest against Congress candidate Vikas Thakre in Nagpur constituency.
Meanwhile, Raju Parve, candidate of Mahayuti and Shiv Sena Shinde faction filed his nomination for Ramtek Lok Sabha Constituency at Nagpur Collectorate. Parve will contest against Congress candidate Rashmi Barve.
