What will be ex CM Sonowal’s fate?
Guwahati, June 23 (NKTV): Ex Chief Minister of Assam Sarbananda Sonowal was last week called to Delhi by the BJP National Executive Committee; however, he could finally meet BJP President JP Nadda on Tuesday after three days of stay in Delhi. Sonowal was accompanied by ex MLA Rituparna Baruah during his meeting with Nadda. Interestingly, Sonowal is yet to meet PM Narendra Modi and Amit Shah.
It may be mentioned here that the news of Sonowal to be incorporated in the central ministry was making rounds recently. However, no decision has surfaced regarding the same. Notably, Rameswar Teli from Assam is already serving as a Union Minister of State. Sonowal’s incorporation would lead to two ministers from Assam. Also, Teli’s removal from the ministry to make space for Sonowal would would lead to the question of his subsequent establishment.
