Wishes pour in for Papon as the popular Assamese and Bollywood singer turned 46 today. Fans and his infinite well-wishers have extended their birthday wishes to singer who has given lots of hit songs both in the Assamese and Bollywood music industry.
Angaraag Papon Mahanta was born to legendary singer-couple of Assam Khagen Mahanta and Archana Mahanta. Papon has many famous Assamese songs in his pocket with a zest of Hindi songs also.
Not only his fans many prominent political leaders of Assam wished Angaraag Papon Mahanta on his birthday. Chief Minister of Assam Himanta Biswa Sarma also extended his wishes to the singer on his birthday. The chief minister took to Twitter and wrote “Warm greetings on your birthday, Papon. May Maa Kamakhya and Mahapurush Srimanta Sankardeva bless you with good health, and may your soul touching numbers continue to win hearts across India and beyond.”

Cabinet Minister Ashok Singhal also took to Twitter and extended birthday wishes to the singer. He wrote “Birthday greetings to iconic Assamese singer & composer @paponmusic today. May Maa Kamakhya bless you to continue your efforts to uplift our Assamese music in international level.”
