A woman named Rina Kumari gave birth to a child on a train named A.A Express to Muzaffarpur. Passenger Rina Kumari, who was in labour pain got help from the medical staff of CMP/Divisional Railway Hospital at NBQ as the medical staff on receiving information rushed to New Bongaigaon station at 01-10 hrs on Thursday.
The railway medical staff arranged normal safe delivery, both baby & mother are safe and continued their journey on the train.
The Northeast Frontier Railway took to Twitter and wrote “Railway doctor and medical staff on receiving information rushed to New Bongaigaon stn at 01-10 hrs yesterday to attend a passenger named Rina Kumari who was in labour pain and arranged normal safe delivery. Both baby & mother are safe and continued journey by 15909 A.A. Express.”
