World Bicycle Day celebration across Assam
Guwahati, June 03 (NKTV): Keeping accordance with World Bicycle Day, numerous cycling clubs across Assam have organised rallies to celebrate the day and also generate awareness on various issues among the masses.
Spinner’s Club in Teok, Jorhat, organised a rally this morning to spread awareness on Covid-19 as well as the benefits of cycling.
Save Earth Cycling Club has organised a tree plantation drive wherein 50 nature loving individuals have been gifted tree saplings for plantation. They shall also be riding their bicycles for around 35 kms to observe the day.
Another cycle rally has been organised in Naharkatia to spread awareness on the benefits of cycling towards health as well as the environment. The Officer-in-Charge of Naharkatia Police Station too participated in the rally.
