Guwahati, July 8 (NKTV): As the year’s first flood hits Assam, Kaziranga National Park has not been left behind. Incessant rains have led excess water to inundate Bagori range of the National Park. Burha Pahar, Bandardubi and Agaratoli among others have been inundated by water from water from the Brahmaputra.
Officials of the National Park have informed that the camps are safe from flood now, however, numerous roads have been submerged.
“We have stepped up preparations for mitigation. Our boats are ready and we have set up barricades at numerous locations” an official informed.
